Content 

A food label is an important communication tool that must take into consideration governing regulations and marketing aspects. This training will cover EU’s food labelling regulation including the mandatory parts of a food label, which can vary according to product type. This will cover the correct presentation of the ingredient list, allergen declarations, nutritional data, product claims, font and pictogram size and field of vision requirements. In addition, other considerations such as marketing text and graphic presentation will be discussed. The training will include the application of these principles with a case study of sample labels.
